Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Fabrication Specialist - Mechanical Assembly (Entry-leve l or Associate) (1st Shift) to support the Team based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Position Responsibilities:
Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
Prepares aircraft parts for painting.
Makes necessary patterns, performs layout, and applies prescribed primers, paints, and finishes.
Performs machine set-up, assembly of sheet metal and extrusion.
Assembles of composites and composite sub-assemblies.
Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)
Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range | Entry-Level (Level A): $40,500 - $49,500
Summary pay range | Associate (Level B): $49,500 - $60,500
