University of Utah Event Planning Manager in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The SJ Quinney College of Law Conference & Events departments mission is to ensure our in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings and events run smoothly, look amazing, and exceed the goals that are set for each event. Assists with planning, implementation, and overseeing all needed arrangements, including supervision of staff, for special events in assigned departments and venues. Interface with all necessary departments, supervise and facilitate events, resolve conflicts, assign needed space, builds community and fosters good relationships.The right candidate needs to be able to work quickly and accurately, have fun, and at the same time know when it is time to get down to business. Be professional, tech-savvy (or willing to learn), adaptable, very self-motivated, and comfortable collaborating with a team.
