Aerotek Production Specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah

Pay Rates:

  • 1 st Shift: $18/hr

  • 2 nd shift+ 3 rd shift: $18/hr+ 15% differential à $20.70/hr

Production

Specialist-Materials

Shift: 0530a-0200p Mon-Fri

2 nd Shift: 0230p-1100p

M-F

Responsibilities:

  • There will be no forklift at this facility-so if anyone wants to operate forklift that would be a disqualifier.

  • Receiving area is small and temperature varies if dock doors are open or closed.

  • They will receive product, take them out of boxes, plastic wrapping, Styrofoam and put into corrugator to break down boxes.

  • Will be responsible for labeling product and placing in proper bins for the “supermarket”

  • Will utilize scanner and computers, specifically Excel, just needs to be comfortable with computer and manager will train on everything else.

  • Must be comfortable moving into different roles throughout the facility when needed.

  • Can be moved to production floor if needed and will be cross trained.

  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds

Production

Specialist-Mechanical Assembly

Shift: 0630a-0300p Mon-Fri

2 nd Shift: 0300p-1130p

M-F

Responsibilities:

  • These candidates will be responsible for working in 9 specific stations down an assembly line.

  • Will have their own worktable and will utilize an electric screwdriver (which weighs about 5lbs- which can be heavy when done repeatedly)

  • Each station should take 90 seconds to do their part of the assembly line process.

  • Each station will have pictures and work instructions, so they know exactly what to assemble.

  • Repetitive work, but must be comfortable rotating stations and learning different parts of the process

  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
