About the Team

The Sr. Sales Business Systems Analyst will be a part of the Rev Ops Sales Systems team at Workday, with a specific focus on the operational process of tooling to support Lead-to-Pipeline. You will play a critical sophisticated role in organizing system demand generation into tangible developing Opportunities. The main responsibility of this role is to facilitate the Business System activities that lead to ensuring the Field Sales Organization have optimized capabilities, tools, and processes to efficiently implement prospecting, lead nurturing, Account Planning and management with the ultimate goal of creation of pipeline Opportunities.

As Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will collect and define clear business requirements (BRDs) for sales initiatives, then transition and represent those requirements with the business technology team (IT) and periodically engage vendors or professional services for solutioning, through to development and launch.

 

About the Role

 

This is to be achieved primarily by engaging with Key Stakeholders within the greater Sales Operations Team, as well as multi-functionally as needed with Privacy, Marketing, Demand Generation, MDM, and heavily with Workday's Business Technology (Information Technology Team) on Implementation. These engagements will be predominately passionate about handling the roadmap of initiatives 3-12 months out and driving quarterly.

In this position, you will take a proactive and leading role in implementing the following responsibilities:

 

Lead Management Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to streamline lead management processes, from lead generation to pipeline creation, with a focus on improving conversion rates and return on investment.

Salesforce Expertise: Leverage sophisticated Salesforce functionalities to craft, configure, and maintain lead management workflows, dashboards, and reports. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce CRM.

Routing and Prospecting Tools: Use routing and prospecting tools to efficiently distribute leads to the appropriate sales representatives based on predefined criteria. Continuously evaluate and optimize routing strategies for improved lead conversion.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze lead performance metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Generate informational reports and actionable recommendations for sales and marketing teams.

Multi-functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align lead management processes with bus iness objectives and priorities. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

 

About You

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience using Salesforce with experience working with Sales nablement or Sales Efficiency Tools and Applications
  • 5+ years of experience working with Sales and Marketing teams
  • 5+ years of experience in Lead to Pipeline area is a must (Lean Data, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Gong)
  • 5 + years of experience with business process discovery & definition (such as process workflows)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Systems Analyst in a High-Technology or High-Growth fast paced environment or organization.
  • A demonstrable record leading small to medium to large sized projects and initiatives from requirements to launch.
  • Shown ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives in varying size and scope simultaneously. .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly self-motivated with strong time management and interpersonal skills.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

 

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $112,000 USD - $168,000 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $106,400 USD - $198,000 USD
