Job Description
As Supply Planner, you'll be responsiblefor the Detailed Planning of F.G., MRP & PAC to meet the customers demand in terms of quantity and timing while he/she keeps the inventory level under control, and he/she maximizes the productivity in the factory through WO scheduling. Customer Service with Global Planning is part of his/her role.
What You'll Do:
Daily follow up to the production plan (F.G. and components) (PAC activities) to identify and to solve potential issues that affects the current commitments with our customers including the final shipment to the customer (Manufacture environment).
Based on the shortage report and capacity available create Work Orders in the ERP and weekly schedule.
Monthly forecast monitoring to track deviations along the time. To keep the supply of components synchronized with the updated customer demand.
Weekly MRP process to release messages to the Purchasing process (ICO / NICO).
Weekly follow up (ICO process) based on current commitments in the CPP file.
To monitor and to implement the necessary actions to meet the business goals and customer satisfaction. Follow the current requirements defined in the Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health Management system. To supervise activities performed by his/her team, related with his job in order to meet the business goals and to keep functioning the Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health Management system.
To Develop himself / herself in the Supply Chain body of knowledge.
Projects You'll Work On:
To meet deadlines committed in the weekly production plan without shortages of components.
To solve potential issues to avoid disruptions in the daily, weekly, monthly production plan.
To create MRP messages (either manually or by an automate process) messages to the Purchasing Department and Subsidiaries. Keep a healthy inventory cost
Qualifications:
College Graduation as Industrial Engineer or Chemical Engineer or another related with Supply Chain field.
Well versed in Microsoft Excel, desirable knowledge in ERP (Oracle E1 is a plus) and DRP software (JDA Manugistics is a plus)
2-3 years in a related position (customer service, MPS/MRP and scheduler).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language / Problem solving, courage, demonstrated ability to utilize data to identify issues and advantages.
