  • Prepare reports, construction plans, specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and cost estimates for various projects.
  • Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing. Assist with studies and alternative analysis.
  • As Project Manager, manage, direct, and supervise projects to assure project conforms to contractual requirements related to time, quality, and budget. Deal directly with client to establish project schedules and expectations.
  • Assist marketing team in maintaining and developing client base through various business development efforts.
  • Assist with proposal team in preparation of RFP type proposal responses including project write ups, resumes, etc.
  • Work with Program Manager in preparation of fee proposals for division.
  • Deal directly with clients/owners to determine specific project needs.
  • Make calculations integral to civil engineering design.
  • Be familiar with and apply applicable building codes, regulations and client design standards.

Qualifications:

  • Engineer-in-Training Certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • B.S. in Civil, Geo-technical or Structural Engineering required.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in vertical building construction and site development.
  • Government, healthcare or higher education project experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of relevant civil engineering codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering theories and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project approach and civil engineering design.
  • Willingness to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCad.
