FGF LLC has a position in San Antonio, TX.

Continuous Improvement Engineer - DUTIES -Work on multiple continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing and the total operations mission and objectives. Analyze information, develop and measure standard metrics, diagram the flow of processes, identify opportunities for improvement and develop corrective action(s) to improve production. Develop project plans for implementation, action improvements to operations and production, as well as to monitor all newly implemented processes. Develop or assist in all fielding and testing of new equipment, methods and/or products. Create and foster an environment which promotes continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to improve production and cost. This includes working with: in a Continuous Improvement role in Food Manufacturing environment involving perishable bakeries for plant operations with sales over $100 million; initiate, lead and complete interdepartmental projects within a food manufacturing environment; training in Lean Six Sigma Practitioner Program (Green Belt or Equivalent) with demonstrated application of completed project for the food manufacturing operations; team management and people skills in a high paced, food manufacturing facility involving bakeries production; and commissioning and leading up manufacturing plans and production lines in food manufacturing environment for the initial and continuing plant operations. Domestic and international 5% required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in Continuous Improvement role in Food Manufacturing environment involving perishable bakeries for plant operations with sales over $100 million; and initiate, lead and complete interdepartmental projects within a food manufacturing environment. Also, 1 year of experience stated herein to involve: (a) Training in Lean Six Sigma Practitioner Program (Green Belt or Equivalent) with demonstrated application of completed project using tools acquired in Lean Six Sigma training for the food manufacturing operations; (b) Demonstrated team management and people skills in a high paced, food manufacturing facility involving bakeries production, leading a team of salaried and hourly team members; and (c) commissioning and leading up manufacturing plans and production lines in food manufacturing environment for the initial and continuing plant operations.
