Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Anesthesia Technologist I - Anesthesiology in San Diego, California
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs duties as unlicensed assistive personnel, functioning under the supervision of the RN Operating Room Circulator and the direction of the Anesthesiologist. Assist the licensed anesthesia provider in various settings at RCHSD. Responsible for organizing, maintaining and supporting the anesthesia patient care. Coordinates appropriate supplies and equipment based on the patient age, size and developmental level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
1 year of Experience (If has completed an ASATT approved Anesthesia Technician program will waive the 1 year of experience)
BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of Experience
Certified Anesthesia Technician
Ped Adv Life Support Prov (PALS)
Graduate from an Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program
One year of experience in an acute care hospital as an Anesthesia Technician or Cardiovascular
Technician
The current salary range for this position is $27.62 to $41.00
A candidate’s placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
