Description
Our client, a growing organization in the San Diego, CA area, is looking for a dynamic and resourceful HR Generalist to join their team. Job Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and provide solutions in line with company policies.
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, proactively resolving conflicts and boosting employee engagement.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from posting job openings to coordinating interviews.
Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Accurately administer employee benefits and resolve inquiries related to compensation, healthcare, and retirement plans.
Partner with management to facilitate performance evaluations and create development plans.
Identify training needs and assist in organizing employee development programs.
Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining company policies and procedures.
Recommend policy enhancements aligned with organizational goals and HR best practices.
Requirements
3+ years of demonstrated experience in human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Familiarity with California labor laws and HR policies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
A strong problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
