Senior Property Accountant

San Francisco; Hybrid

$Base + Bonus + Unlimited PTO + Great Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily/weekly cash analysis, review expenditures, and handle inquiries.

  • Ensure monthly GAAP compliance, record transactions, reconcile accounts, and process payments.

  • Assist with quarterly closes, including financial statement preparation.

  • Support annual audit and tax preparation.

  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects and acquisitions/dispositions analysis.

  • Communicate with partners and interpret legal agreements.

  • Maintain confidentiality, adhere to policies, and ensure a safe environment.

  • Display professionalism and responsiveness.

  • Fulfill assigned duties positively and helpfully.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, construction, or development.

  • CPA or CPA Candidate status.

  • Proficiency in MRI, Nexus, and Excel (including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables)

  • Understanding of partnership/fund accounting concepts.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive team environment.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
