Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
High school diploma or equivalency.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, tasks, projects, and assignments with minimal supervision.
Ability to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records and files.
Effective writing and speaking skills.
Experience with computer software (Microsoft suite) and database management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years’ experience in complex secretarial or administrative work in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual candidates with Spanish proficiency.
Job Description
This is a grant funded position; continuation of this position is contingent upon contuse grant funding.
Reports to the TRIO Program Director.
The Grant Secretary performs various administrative tasks to support the Program staff.
May be required to work occasional nights and weekends.
Job Duties
Provide administrative support to program staff to include participant recruitment, selection, and service delivery.
Maintain program files and review for completeness.
Assist program staff with maintenance of program database.
Adhere to and provide feedback on policies and procedures to ensure efficient office/program operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
