Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a highly skilled professional to join its Global Customer Services (GCS) Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager of GCS Finance. This individual will support the team with financial reporting, modeling, monthly/quarterly close cycles, forecasting, annual planning, and ad-hoc financial projects and analyses. Success in this role requires a self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a passion for driving change in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.

Improve business performance by providing insightful reports, dashboards, analyses, and models. Drive accountability for business results utilizing operational and financial metrics
Simplify and automate existing finance processes.
Drive efficiencies to maximize the team’s ability to focus on high value-added, strategic initiatives
Develop and present high-quality recommendations and deliverables (PPT, etc.) for executive-level consumption, and contribute to strategy and execution plans
Drive key projects and engage in AI related initiatives to improve business and financial results.
Analyze and report the drivers and outcomes.
Work cross-functionally across our team supporting a diverse set of activities
Your Experience
5+ years of experience in high-tech FP&A or business support roles working with large datasets, consolidating, analyzing and creating data-driven models
Knowledge of finance fundamentals: i.e. Profit and Loss (P&L) and other financial Statements, Accounting Principles, and Return on Investment evaluation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data requirements and interpret complex financial data and metrics
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Passion for solving complex business problems using a variety of analytics tools
Ability to multitask, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a highly-matrixed international organizational structure
Preferred
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. MBA preferred.
Experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP, SAC), BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), and G-suite applications is preferred
Experience providing Finance support to a Customer Services delivery organization (e.g. Technical Support, Professional Services, Customer Success) or Customer Services Operations team is a plus
The Team
The Global Customer Services (GCS) Finance team partners with Palo Alto Networks’
GCS business unit (Technical Support, Professional Services, and Customer Success) to
enable success by driving efficient growth and maximizing profitability. We manage the
end-to-end financials and reporting deliverables, annual and long-term planning
processes, and multi-period forecasting cycles, using analytics and tools to achieve
business and financial objectives.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $97000 - $156000/YR.
