Amazon Business Intelligence Analyst - People Analytics, PXT Brazil in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our BI team. This role will drive PXT (People Experience and Technology) analytics goals, working in partnership with our global BI PXT team with a high level of curiosity, learnability, and a strong bias for action. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to meet tight deadlines, and capable of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key job responsibilities

PXT Reporting and Analysis

Partner with diverse stakeholders to understand data requirements and analysis intent

Gather and analyze data from various sources (e.g., Clarity, People Portal, global dashboards)

Deliver timely, accurate reports and analyses, ensuring smooth execution through all stages

Drive continuous improvement processes to enhance reporting quality and efficiency

Analytical Automation

Evaluate existing practices and implement automations

Partner with tech teams to adapt or create new automation solutions

Design and implement reporting architecture, including self-serve dashboards and API integrations

Continuously update knowledge of best practices across the organization

Drive work elimination and time-saving initiatives

Insight Generation

Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including regression analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection

Generate actionable insights to support customer decision-making and deep dives

Design and test hypotheses to drive data-driven recommendations

Data Partnering

Collaborate with PXT support teams (e.g., CTK, WFS, 3PLs, etc) to ensure data consistency and accuracy

Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and accessibility

Knowledge Management

Create and maintain process SOPs, metric databases, wikis, and historical insights

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience with Excel

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

  • Experience as business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

  • Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

  • English Level Intermediate
