NEW OPPORTUNITY - Country Manor is looking for an IT System Specialist to join our talented IT Services team!

Country Manor is a locally and nationally recognized health care continuum, that has proudly been serving Central MN communities for over 50 years. As an award-winning leader in senior care, childcare, preschool, home health care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, pharmacy services and more, we serve nearly 1,000 individuals daily across our multiple campuses. Additionally, Country Manor plans to expand its service offerings into the Brainerd Lakes Area in 2025, with the opening of Pinecrest of Country Manor, an upscale senior living campus, and Kids Crest Childcare & Learning Center.

As we enter another phase of growth and development, we are expanding our current IT Services team to allow for optimal success.

The incumbent of this role will be experienced, committed, and forward-thinking, with a desire to ensure fellow team members have access to timely, competent, professional technical support.

JOB SUMMARY

The IT System Specialist will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our company's IT systems and networks. This role will oversee the daily performance of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications. Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues related to computer systems, SaaS applications and networks within our organization, implementing new technologies, and efficiency of our IT environment. The IT system specialist will need to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures as well as create user manuals and guides as needed to ensure smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  2. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and configuring server infrastructure and software.

  3. Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software systems.

  4. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Scale Computing).

  5. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Audio visual systems.

  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  7. Exhibits patience and persistence when faced with challenges or obstacles.

  8. Maintains a high level of attention to detail, ensuring conscientious quality in all work completed.

  9. Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, work independently and as part of a team.

  10. Relevant certifications are a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.

  2. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.

  3. Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

  4. Assist IT team in monitoring ticket queue, and provide support via email, phone or remote connections, as well as

onsite support at all of Country Manor campuses.

  1. Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related problems.

  2. Server installations including operating systems and application installations, migrations, and upgrades.

  3. Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and expanding your skillset.

  4. Advanced computer knowledge of software and systems troubleshooting.

  5. Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement system upgrades and improvements.

  6. Maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.

  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
