Insight Global Communications Lead in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Communication Lead to support a large Canadian retailer, in an 8 month contract fully remote across Western Canada. This role primarily supports the People Forward program, aiming to enhance the hire-to-retire employee experience through technology, consistent with HR practices, and reliable HR data.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic communication planning and develop strategies with the project team.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to implement communication plans.

Monitor and execute change communications, coordinating information distribution.

Create and edit content for various communication channels.

Ensure consistent voice, tone, and message across communications.

Guide local retail stores in their communication efforts.

Lead and guide the Communication Specialist.

Develop and implement communication materials like presentations and templates.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Communications, Business (Marketing), Journalism or other related field.

6+ years of relevant progressive experience as an effective, strategic communicator in a large, complex, multi-stakeholder organization (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write for a variety of audiences through various media.

Strong understanding and demonstrated best practice in: strategic communications planning, project management, change management, brand development, digital platforms including content management systems, issues management and employee communications.

Strong strategic agility, political savvy, process management and critical thinking skills.

Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and value the perspectives of others. - Experience with HCM software null
