Job Title: Machine Shop Support

Job Description

As a Machine Shop Support specialist, you will operate CNC machines and engage in sheet metal fabrication to produce precision parts. Your responsibilities will include interpreting technical drawings, monitoring operations for quality and efficiency, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols. You will also inspect parts for compliance with specifications, participate in process improvement, and collaborate with teams to support production goals.

Skills:

  • Set up and Operating CNC machines

  • Sheet metal fabrication

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

  • Using precision measuring instruments

  • CNC programming and G-code familiarity

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines and/ or sheet metal fabrication equipment and experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

Work Environment

This role requires physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged periods of standing, and manual dexterity for operating machinery. The position involves working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment where adherence to safety guidelines and standards is crucial.
