The Federal Systems Technology department of the USFGMD is responsible for service supporting a charter of implementing and integrating complex systems sold worldwide to the US Federal Government. As a USFGMD Systems Technologist, you will be exposed to a wide variety of communications requirements in both the Presale and Post Sale phases of a project. These applications span the entire breadth of the US Federal Government throughout the world.Job Description Work Location is on-site in Jordan Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customer This is not a remote work or telework position. Requires approximately 75% travel Provide onsite Land Mobile Radio Technical support to US Army Network Enterprise Center (NEC) covering Jordan and Iraq. The Technical Assistant is dedicated to supporting the end users and coordinates all customer facing aspects of system usage to include subscriber programming and fleet map management. Provide single point of contact for day-to-day operations, routine system upkeep, and immediate response for emergency service calls. Requests and coordinates technical support and follow up repairs with Motorola Field Service Organization. Provides all levels of both formal and informal end user training. Duties of the Engineer Leader in this EMEA Technical Assistant for this customer include the following: Provide Input and advise to US Army and Motorola leadership on system usage, user training, system status, key management Assist with development and maintenance of the System Fleet map Serve as Liaison between organizations, both fixed and visiting, in fulfilling requirements for current events, special events, or future military exercises as well as normal day-to-day operations. This requires attending meetings or briefings on new customer requirements. Gathers historical data biweekly for the completion of the monthly usage report and the annual Land Mobile Radio resource utilization report IAW National Telecommunications Information Advisory (NTIA) and provides to the Frequency Management Office for submission to SPS Assist in the development and maintenance of Radio Code plugs Assist with LMR Subscriber Radio Programming and coordination of Programming Process and Procedure Dispatch, Radio, and LMR Network User Database Management Encryption Key Management Local/Store and Forward and OTAR Configurations Key Rotation Coordination and Oversight Radio Authentication Key Management Process and Procedure Assist the LMR Team in developing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for meeting the daily requirements of the LMR end u
