What We Do The Principal Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing engaging creative from conceptualization through implementation for First American's brand and marketing channels. This role calls for individual talent and strong initiative, combined with a team-oriented approach. The candidate should have experience working within both the print and digital space, excellent concepting skills, the ability to present work, and the ability to take critical feedback. This role will also be responsible for creating and maintaining brand guidelines, participating in strategy discussions, needing little supervision, and inspiring others to excel. What You'll Do Develop innovative print and digital solutions for First American. Create concepts, comps, layouts, and final art, ensuring they meet established deadlines. Develop and standardize brand and design guidelines that reinforce the company's message and image. Present concepts and design solutions to key stakeholders. Uses broad expertise or unique knowledge to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles. Maintains corporate identity, design standards, and policies. Work closely with other designers, creative directors, outside agencies, and/or freelancers. Create accurate price estimates and breakdowns while delivering solutions within budget and invoicing after the project is complete. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with an extensive knowledge base of industry practices and established policies and procedures Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Trains and provides art direction for junior designers. Reviews work of less experienced graphic designers to ensure high quality. May be required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs. What You'll Bring Possess strong conceptual skills and a high level of sense of design, layout, and typography. A broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions. Has excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Expert-level proficiency in Figma. Extensive experience with both print and digital design. Experience creating content, including videos, through art direction, storyboarding, and editing. Self-motivated; self-starter Experience managing projects with complex inter-dependencies, focusing on both long-range projects and immediate tasks Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Education BS Degree in a business field or equivalent work experience Experience 8+ years of related experience Pay Range: $71,500 - $110,000 Annually This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
