Amazon Secured Space Manager in Seattle, Washington

We are looking for a Secured Space Manager to join the Secured Space Team (SST), a team of professionals in charge of providing exemplary customer service, incident escalation, and security services at Amazon. This security professional will be overall responsible for the security integrity of executive office space and/or floor occupied by executive(s), provide physical security while utilizing the latest technologies, access control, and escorts within executive space. This is a customer facing role where you will interface with upper-level Amazon leadership. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong sense of bias for action, time management, attention to detail, and an innate passion for protecting people, places, and assets.

This position is located in Seattle, WA.

Key job responsibilities

Develop building specific security incident escalation procedures specific to work area.

Manage and uphold existing safety and security processes while consistently looking for ways to improve.

Manage multiple projects of varying importance to help overall program growth.

Assist with budgeting and operational performance forecasting annually.

Build and maintain business relationships with building teams, vendors, customers, and external security partners.

Conduct a multitude of audits on a regular cadence to ensure security integrity.

Oversee space buildouts for future secured spaces.

Provide in-depth post incident debriefs to leadership.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or minimum of 3+ years of experience in a security, law enforcement or military discipline.

Ability to multitask in stressful situations.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

Security operations center experience preferred.

Lenel certifications.

Executive/C-Suite experience preferred.

Ability to adapt well to fast paced environments with changing circumstances, direction and strategy.

Ability to prioritize and react with appropriate levels of urgency to multiple situations, requests and events that require quick response or turnaround.

CPP or PSP certifications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $140,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
