JOB DUTIES:
Senior Analytics Engineer positions available at Turner Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA. Contribute to data pipeline, data modeling, and data visualization-related efforts for the Business Intelligence & Analytics team. Work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure that business logic is properly represented in the semantic layer and production environments, where it can be used by the wider HBO Max team to drive business strategy. Design and implement data models that support flexible querying and data visualization. Advance automation efforts that help the team spend less time manipulating and validating data and more time analyzing it. Contribute innovative ideas to the Analytics Engineering roadmap. Rapidly deliver on concepts through prototypes that can be presented for feedback. May work remotely.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in the job offered or at least 3 years of experience in writing SQL (clean, fast code) in data-warehousing concepts. Stated experience must include at least 3 years of experience in the following: transforming flawed/changing data into consistent, trustworthy datasets; general-purpose programming; and working with data structures, algorithms, and serialization formats. Stated experience must include at least 2 years of experience in the following: developing DAGs to batch-process millions of records; and big-data technologies.
We are offering a salary range of $150,000 per year to $190,000 per year, depending upon qualifications.
