First Mode is seeking a VP, Sales & Business Development to drive our rapidly growing customer base. First Mode's mission is to build carbon reduction and zero emission products to enable a sustainable future for everyone. To do this, we will design and deliver new products and systems that are critical for ultra-low emission mobility and the decarbonization of heavy industry. As the VP, Sales & Business Development, you will spearhead our efforts to expand revenue and drive business growth. In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead our global sales operations across five countries, with a primary focus on heavy industries. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic revenue leadership, customer-centric approaches, revenue optimization, collaborative leadership, market penetration, industry relations, external marketing strategy, and more. Position Responsibilities and Basic Qualifications Strategic Revenue Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in heavy industries. Identify new market opportunities and innovative revenue streams leveraging our products. Collaborate cross-functionally to align product development with market demand and customer needs. Provide strategic direction on product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans based on market insights and customer feedback. * Oversee the implementation of effective sales processes and methodologies to optimize performance and achieve sales objectives consistently. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify expansion opportunities. Customer-Centric Approach: Foster a customer-first culture, ensuring all revenue-generating activities prioritize customer satisfaction and value. Develop, introduce and roll out a program that creates strong customer relationships to gather insights for product development and enhance overall customer experience. Revenue Optimization: Collaborate to ensure pricing strategies maximizing profitability while maintaining competitiveness. Utilize data analytics and market intelligence to optimize revenue channels and identify improvement areas. Collaborative Leadership: Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive working environment that promotes open communication and teamwork. Work closely with executive leadership to align revenue goals with overall business objectives. Design competitive compensation structures to incentivize and reward high performance within the business development team. Mentor and lead regional sales teams across five countries to drive business growth and deliver exceptional results. Market Penetration and Industry Relations: Develop and execute strategies to penetrate global heavy industry markets and identify new markets leveraging our capabilities. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and influencers within industry sectors. Industry Partnerships: Identify strategic partnerships across target industries to support our entry into those sectors. Collaborate with partners to leverage synergies and accelerate innovative solutions.
