7 Cedars Resort Housekeeping Lead in Sequim, Washington

{width="420" height="420"} Exciting job opportunity! 7 Cedars Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Housekeeper to join our team. Apply now! The Housekeeping lead is responsible for leading the housekeeping department. The scope of responsibility will include, but not be limited to: cleaning guest rooms and other hotel areas, coordinating with the front desk and laundry department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Leading the housekeeping department to ensure all housekeepers are adhering to Resorts policies.
  • Create daily housekeeping assignments to meet the needs of hotel occupancy.
  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleaning standards are met.
  • Train and motivate team to ensure limited turnover and a happy workforce.
  • Create a safe work environment through good practices and steady monitoring.
  • Maintain and clean guest rooms and common areas.
  • Positively interact with guests and communicate their needs with the front office staff.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop and clean carpet/flooring in rooms and throughout the Resort property.
  • Dust, brush, polish, clean and vacuum furniture, glass, mirrors, curtains, décor appliances and other fixtures and furnishings.
  • Coordinate with laundry department to collect, clean, and redistribute linens, towels, etc.
  • Remove trash from guest rooms and common areas.
  • Work with front desk staff for any lost and found items.
  • Work with Maintenance team to ensure both routine maintenance and as need maintenance is handled in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain housekeeping inventory and supplies to meet the hotel needs.
  • Coordinate and communicate with all departments to meet guests needs.
  • Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
  • Understand and maintain Reputation Management. Resolve client conflicts and concerns while maintaining superior customer service.
  • Core competencies in current ADA and other regulatory expectations.
  • Uphold and lead others in following 7 Cedars Resorts mission and values.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

     

     

     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining work processes.
  • Must be flexible with hours and days worked; mornings, nights, weekdays, weekends and Holidays.
