Emerson Inside Sales Manager in SEREGNO, Italy

Reporting directly to the Sales Director you will manage the Italian and Israeli markets (consolidated under Italian figures). This role focuses on optimizing each customer interaction by coordinating the Inside Sales team, thereby strengthening customer relationships. The Inside Sales Manager provides oversight, leadership, and strategic direction to ensure the team delivers high-quality pre-sales, post-sales, and technical support to customers.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Lead and manage the Inside Sales Engineers (ISE) team, ensuring they meet individual and team targets.

  • Empower the team with the support of the organization, clearly explaining strategic business objectives and how the ISE’s work impacts achieving these goals.

  • Keep the team motivated and united, effectively practicing situational leadership.

  • Promote the development of the team's product knowledge, application expertise, and awareness of industry trends through continuous learning initiatives.

  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies in collaboration with the Sales Director and Outside Sales Teams to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.

  • Implement these strategies effectively within the inside sales team, specifically concerning quotations.

  • Enhance customer relationships by providing high-level technical and sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Provide medium to advanced technical solutions and application assistance to customers and the team.

  • Oversee the preparation of technical proposals and formal quotations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pricing policies.

  • Supervise records of incoming opportunities and orders in the CRM and use PowerBI for data analysis, adhering to the Proposals Guidelines

  • Verify incoming purchase orders for product selection, sizing correctness, and completeness of required configurations or application data sheets

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in coordinating an inside or sales team, preferably in instrumentation and process control

  • Experience in preparing quotations for control valves is highly desirable

  • Native proficiency in Italian and proficiency in English, capable of handling technical and commercial conversations (Intermediate/Advanced level of English).

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally for training and business purposes.
