Google Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions (English, Mandarin) in Shanghai, China

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 4 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients or customers.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support the client management in this market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and the ability to achieve goals to drive growth.

  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and influencing C-level stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics, and product knowledge across all digital advertising products.

  • Ability to strategically assess and solve customer needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.

  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as an engagement strategy.

  • Ability to exhibit thought leadership and executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

  • Establish a partnership with executives and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.

  • Manage a group of businesses by understanding what promotes, growth, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and creating multi-quarter plans for growth.

  • Prioritize and deliver an excellent customer experience to Google's advertisers.

  • Coach junior teammates in the organization proactively to expand skills that cultivate customers growth and contributes to overall team success.

  • Generate plans by collaborating with specialists, engineers and product teams, and define business goals, key strategies, and metrics for success.
