Fortive Corporation Sales Engineer in Shanghai, China
GENERAL SUMMARY:
a. Drive Fluke calibration business in East China Region.
b. Balance the long-term strategy with immediate opportunities in keen-competition markets like Manufacturing and Metrology segments.
PRIMARY FUNCTION/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Beat and exceed sales objectives by coordinating with regional sales team.
b. Formulate, develop and execute short and medium-term sales and marketing plans in order to achieve strategic goals.
c. Work with regional sales team to develop and execute regional market-making plans.
JOB COMPLEXITY:
a. Work independently.
b. Operate in work situations of complexity.
c. Need both strategic and tactical thinking.
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:
a. Good knowledge of industry, products, and applications.
b. Ability to work with channel and be able to demonstrate leadership.
c. Must be highly self‑motivated and possess good sales skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
a. BSEE or comparable technical degree with at least 5 years’ sales/engineering experience in Manufacturing or Metrology segments.
b. Customer resources and experience in university laboratory or electric vehicle industry are preferred.
c. Aggressive, result-oriented, creative, good team player.
d. Successful track record on sales and sales management.
e. Major account management skill-set.
f. Channel sales and marketing skill-set.
g. Strong ethical mind-set and integrity.
h. Willing to travel.
