ManpowerGroup Controls Engineer in Shelby Township, Michigan

Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for taking the lead on developing software on new projects and debug software on new machines. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Shelby Township, Michigan

Pay Rate: Up to $48.00/hour (will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design PLC software and HMIs for industrial automation equipment

  • Debug and troubleshoot PLC software and HMIs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines and critical path milestones.

Requirements

  • Electrical engineering degree preferred; mechatronics degrees will also be considered.

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Controls Engineer.

  • Knowledge or education in electrical circuits, schematic reading, design, and troubleshooting.
