Randstad Shelbyville is seeking candidates with 4-10 years of Plastic Injection Mold Repair experience. work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks

• Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair faulty or damaged tooling

• Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of parts to determine tool specifications and tolerances

• Keep presses operational

• Perform preventative maintenance on molds

• Restore damaged surfaces and re-machine to specifications

• Reassemble, test, and adjust tooling

• Perform slide changes

• Check water flow on higher volume tooling

• Knowledgeable in the areas of mold and tool making

• Perform other repairs, corrections and engineering changes to molds as requested by Production Tooling Manager

• Teach and guide apprentices through all facets of mold making

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
