Sierra Pacific Industries Equipment Operator in Shelton, Washington
Currently, we are seeking a qualified Equipment Operator to work in our log yard at our sawmill in Shelton, Washington.
About The Position • Operate frontend loader to load/unload log trucks • Sort logs by species and feed logs to the sawmill • Climb ladders on heavy equipment and operate machinery • Operates shovel loader, plows snow with loader during winter months • The work is fast paced and can, at times, be demanding • Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments • Work may consist of swing shift work, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
Qualifications • 2 years' prior loader operating experience preferred • Proven ability to recognize and sort logs by species • All applicants must be at least age 18
