Job Title: Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient with MIG welding and capable of laying out, positioning, and securing plasma and cut parts using straightedge. You will be responsible for performing various welding techniques, including vertical up, vertical down, horizontal, and overhead welding. Additionally, you must be able to lift 50 pounds and read and interpret CAD drawings accurately.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding with proficiency.
Layout, position, and secure plasma and cut parts using straightedge.
Weld vertical up, vertical down, horizontal, and overhead.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Read and interpret CAD drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with fabrication.
Experience with fitting.
Knowledge of stainless steel welding.
Work Environment
Our facility is temperature-controlled and typically has music playing over speakers throughout the shift. We provide necessary PPE and tools, including work gloves, protective glasses, and hearing protection. Employees must provide their own steel-toe boots. The facility is clean, organized, and recently updated with new restrooms, office spaces, and a paved parking lot. The shift hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
