General Summary:

The Clinical Concurrent Reviewer position exists to support Quality and Performance Improvement at Holy Cross Hospital by assisting staff to implement strategies that identify, prioritize, measure, and improve key clinical processes and outcomes.

o Maintaining current knowledge of clinical indicators and compliance requirements;

o Providing concurrent medical record review to assess documentation compliance and facilitating recommended interventions;

o Managing tools to collect outcome data and providing regular feedback to individuals, managers and leaders.

o Identifying staff learning needs related to clinical measures and providing/referring for unit based education and training

o Participating in the ongoing development and implementation of the Performance Improvement Plan for the Hospital which may include Peer Review, clinical case review, data abstractions, and data entry and focused data abstraction for PI initiatives.

o Assisting staff to identify, prioritize, measure and improve key clinical processes and outcomes;
