Job Description Summary
Deliverables: Understand High Pressure Compressor Blades and Vanes repair processes. Able to read Engine Shop Manual and interpret it down to our internal routers, SOPs and Operating sheets. Understand the details of the approval process required to make changes on current repair operations
Problem Solving: Under the guidance of Process Engineer will be involved in troubleshooting and executing actions to increase the first-time yield (FTY) of HPC Vane Sector Brazing process to 98%. Monitor and gather yield data for all Brazing processes and determine root cause for any dip in the FTY. Qualification of new solvent for Vapor Degreasing operation under the guidance of Process Engineer.
Process Improvement: Will be involved in Lean Kaizen activities for Chemical and Heat Treat/Brazing processes. Will be also tasked to support the process and productivity improvement areas in the business to maximize productivity

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Materials/Aerospace Engineering is preferred
