About our Team
We are looking for an Implementation Manager to lead and manage customer implementations of our world-class product, Interfolio: The leading academic faculty management software, trusted by higher education institutions across the globe. Interfolio offers a unique 4-module Faculty Information System freeing up time for faculty, professional staff, and administrative leadership. Solution includes Lifecycle Management, Faculty Activity Reporting, Faculty Search and Review, Promotion & Tenure.
The Interfolio Implementation Manager is part of a global Implementation Team based in USA, UK and Singapore. It is the responsibility of the Interfolio implementation team to perform customer implementations post-sales.
About the Role
As an Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a number of these implementations. You will function as the customer’s Interfolio expert during the implementation and especially regarding the technical tasks of getting data in and out of Interfolio. You will be the main point of contact for the customer after the purchase of Interfolio and during the implementation, and the ability to establish good communications and relations with the customer is very important. We take pride in understanding and solving customer's questions and issues, both technical and functional.
Responsibilities
Prepare the customer for the implementation project, including assisting sales in pre-sales activities.
Create a realistic implementation plan for customer implementation projects.
Manage and monitor the implementation as it unfolds, including regular online status meetings with the customer.
Communicate, plan, and track the work for the specific implementation project with both internal and external stakeholders.
Provide the customer with advice and suggestions on how best to perform the integration and migration tasks needed, including doing quality checks on the data provided and resulting data in Interfolio.
Be the customer’s Interfolio expert offering advice and knowledge of best practices on how to use Interfolio to ensure that the customer harvests the full potential of Interfolio.
Ensure that the customer launches with the best possible Interfolio set up within the boundaries defined for the project.

It is expected that an Implementation Manager is capable of handling multiple concurrent implementation projects at the same time. The exact number depends on the complexity of the projects in question. Furthermore, there will be work where existing customers need guidance and support for smaller projects. Some or occasional travel is expected.
Requirements
Relevant college or university degree or other relevant education (e.g. software engineer, computer scientist)
Minimum 5 years of experience with project management
Sufficient technical experience to understand and explain systems integration on the data level including data extraction, transformation, and formatting.
Excellent communication skills
Strong communication skills in English are required, written as well as spoken.
Good communication skills in other relevant languages are preferred (e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)
Basic knowledge and understanding of databases, XML, ETL and Web Services/API
Programming experience including databases, XML, ETL and Web Services/API is preferred
Experience within the area of academic faculty management is preferred
Higher Education industry experience is preferred
Experience with Change Management is preferred
Knowledge of basic lean principles is preferred
