Job Summary

Responsible for providing business development and incremental revenue streams to publishers using FreeWheel’s technology by building relationships with publisher and buy-side partners (Agencies, Trading desks, DSPs, SSPs and other buying partners) and understanding their selling and buying strategies, inventory needs, advertisers portfolio and goals/KPIs expected from video publishers. The Marketplace Activation Manager is a key element of the APAC Supply team, working in close relationships with the local Publisher Management team under the Commercial Director for APAC. You will manage a number of key publisher accounts and collecting valuable feedback from the relevant buying partners. This is in order to develop the revenue of the supply side customers of FreeWheel and identify new revenue opportunities, resolve potential inventory issues and ensure our supply and buying partners receive the best customer service possible when selling and buying from FreeWheel technology platforms. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Promote inventory and key publishers available on FreeWheel platforms to DSP, Agencies, Trading Desks, and any other buying partner including AudienceXpress.

  • Work with the Inventory Monetisation Specialists and Publisher Account team to help identify revenue and monetisation opportunities across the APAC publisher account portfolio. This is with a responsibility to contribute to the buy side account strategy and spend growth to drive expansion opportunities.

  • Build relationships with the buy side to understand their needs from SSP platforms in terms of inventory and supply KPIs.

  • Get feedback on DSP/DMP usage and strengths/weaknesses identified on FreeWheel platforms and available inventory.

  • Analyse and identify FreeWheel supply offering weaknesses at the inventory level from the feedback given by the buy side.

  • Work closely with Inventory Monetisation Specialists and Publisher Managers to provide more customised solutions to buyers and adapt publisher offerings through FreeWheel platforms.

  • Provide customised solutions to deliver campaigns by using AudienceXpress and FreeWheel’s affiliates support.

  • Work with FreeWheel Product teams to identify and resolve FreeWheel software weakness’s from buyside needs and their feedback.

  • Participate to compelling strategic business reviews to identify publisher growth opportunities from buy side perspectives.

  • Work with publisher accounts managers to help growth their revenue and manage their portfolio.

Skills and Experience

  • 2 years or more of professional experience in programmatic buying or selling, software sales and/or media sales including managing renewals and upsells.

  • Experience building and managing relationships with agencies, trading desks, publishers and programmatic platforms.

  • Strong understanding of advertising technology, including SSP, DSP, media, marketer, and agency business models.

  • Fast learner with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical contacts.

  • Passion for customer success and track record of happy, growing customers

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts with various sizes and priority levels.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
