Job Description Summary
Create drawings and models for legacy vendor designed tooling/fixtures to improve tooling support for NPI / Shop projects and create VSM for tooling process.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Review legacy tooling/fixtures drawings and modify/re-create to GE engineering drawing standard.
Generate CAD model from legacy tooling/fixtures drawings and reverse engineering from physical tool.
Map the tooling process and perform time studies to create the VSM so as to identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
Able to interpret engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerencing.
Previous experience with Computed-Aided Design with established capability is required.
NX and AutoCAD software knowledge is preferred.
