Senior Managing Consultant, Advisors Client Services, Marketing

Mastercard Data & Services provides cutting-edge data analysis and services to Fortune 500s, governments, and nonprofits to make multimillion-dollar business decisions and grow their organizations. Our Advisors Client Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Mastercard Advisors works with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.

The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Marketing consultants lead the strategy development and implementation of campaigns and engagements for clients. They use customer data to provide deep direct marketing expertise across channels, evaluating campaign results and adapting the approach to optimize marketing performance.

Responsibilities

• Working at the intersection of strategy, design, insights, products and services, s/he is able to shape interactions and engagements across multi disciplines to unlock innovation and strategic value for internal stakeholders and clients in scalable manner.

• This is a pivotal role within Managed Services responsible for clients business development of marketing solutions. Accountable for scale and delivery of digital transformation initiatives across markets in AP. Proactively originate and shape digital opportunities to disrupt BAU and entrenched practices to drive change and growth. Develop go-to-market digital marketing strategies for key clients and engagements.

• Dedicated resource for one major global bank amongst other engagements to design, drive and execute co-branded (bank and Mastercard) marketing and communication initiatives to deliver a seamless customer experience for key payment products. S/he will oversee quality creative development and production as well as media planning and execution for this bank amongst other projects. S/he will manage agencies, internal and external stakeholders.

• Support and drive the digital marketing transformation agenda to with internal and external stakeholders to grow and scale Mastercard’s and clients’ revenue through data and insights as well as results-driven digital marketing strategies and solutions.

• Partner internal and external stakeholders to materialize customer-centered digital transformation. Lead innovative digital marketing initiatives to deliver and support an intuitive and customer centric journey and eco-system so as to engineer extraordinary marketing value and returns of marketing investment.

• Drive and execute co-branded (bank and Mastercard) marketing and communication initiatives to deliver a seamless customer experience for key payment products. S/he will oversee quality creative development and production as well as media planning and execution for this bank amongst other projects. S/he will manage agencies, internal and external stakeholders.

• Execute and implement marketing solutions that include data-driven digital marketing initiatives, marketing automation, integrated marketing programs, business development, acquisition, portfolio marketing management, product launches to support the growth or Mastercard’s business and our customers. Support the roll out of fresh and scalable and automated digital marketing solutions.

• Evaluate and work with external marketing related partners with effective platforms, capabilities, expertise and innovative solutions that best support the growth of our business. Negotiate, execute and manage end-to-end digital marketing processes and implementation, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing.

• Influence and work closely with a large diverse team to achieve marketing returns, revenue targets and increase market share with customers. Provide consultative industry, leading practices and Mastercard data and insights in alignment with segment specialty that drive optimal marketing results.

• Manage projects, P&L and end-to-end executions in a timely manner. Provide marketing and administrative support to the team.

Basic qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with work experience in marketing and campaign projects focused on one or more of the following fields: marketing content, digital and social media campaigns, digital customer experience, digital marketing, end-to-end product launch, ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystems, offline marketing activities/campaigns, media management and planning, direct response marketing

• Experience coaching and managing teams across multiple engagements with third parties

• Experience managing key vendor and client relationships

• Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership

• Ability to identify new business development opportunities, and experience drafting proposals and scoping new opportunities

• Ability to provide perspective on industry and marketplace

• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)

• Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs

Preferred qualifications

• Additional marketing experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing and campaign experience from agency environment, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, video making (e.g., scripting, storyboard, and content), marketing content, usability labs and experience research, print production management

• Global supply chain management (GSM), including sourcing new suppliers and assessing third party production vendors

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

• Experience leading development and implementation of solutions and measuring impact on clients' business

• Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm

• Relevant industry expertise and/or experience in product, sales, or marketing technology

• MBA or master’s degree with specialization in marketing or digital (not required)
