The intern will be tasked to focus on up to two projects. The intern is expected to operate the welding machine during development process, work closely with the welders and prepare repair documents that welders can understand.

Essential Responsibilities:
Deliverables: Complete a substantiation package for repairing a combustor liner by using Dabber TIG Welding process, under the guidance of Welding Engineer. The process requires experimentation with different welding parameters, metallography evaluation, preparation of repair documents and reviewing the pre/post welding process.
Lean: Understand the process flow for Dabber TIG Welding process. Practice lean concept to identify areas of improvement and ergonomic issues for Dabber TIG Welding process. May be getting involved in Kaizen event and building creform system that can ease the works for the welders.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
