Aventure Staffing Warehouse Supervisor in Sioux Center Area, Iowa
Warehouse Supervisor - $21.00/hr.
Mon-Fri 7a – 5p
Are you a detail-oriented, motivated leader that focuses on attention to detail? Are you looking for a fast-paced position where time will fly? If so, this job is for you! A local distributing facility is looking for Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by managing and prioritizing all aspects of the warehouse operation on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Location Manager with coordinating warehouse and delivery staff.
Oversee warehouse operations to exceed expectation for productivity.
Supervise the proper routing, loading, and preparing of orders for shipment and delivery.
Supervise the proper handling of inter-company transfers of inventory.
Process incoming shipments in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two years in related experience and/or training required. Minimum 1-2 years in progressive position.
Understanding of basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures required.
Must be able to communicate positively with employees, supervisors, sales staff and customers. Superior customer service required.
Must be able to use computers and other common office equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Continually required to talk and hear.
Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs, up to 80lbs or more as a team.
