ASM Global Police Officer in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enforcing laws and venue policies.
Ensuring the safety and security of the public by responding to emergencies, aiding victims, and reducing or preventing involvement in crime.
Conducts routine venue walks to ensure public safety during events.
Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees.
Secures the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Works independently to judge and assess situations for immediate response.
Creating community awareness by using crime prevention methods or intervention initiatives.
Notifies appropriate members of management or emergency systems when necessary.
Completes incident reports and logs as required.
Responds immediately to emergency situations.
Conducting investigations by interviewing suspects, witnesses, and collecting evidence during all event disturbances.
Processing incident reports with accurate detail and information.

Ensure the implementation of standard security protocols.
Education/Experience:
Must be currently employed with the Sioux Falls Police Department and/or a law enforcement agency.
High School diploma or GED.
One year of security experience in a similar environment preferred.
