Description
Our client in SKOKIE, Illinois needs an Active Directory Architect for a part-time, short term contract project. The industry they operate in is Manufacturing and the role will involve managing user account policies, overseeing data migration processes, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for Office 365 and Active Directory. This role presents a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Implement domain renames and ensure seamless integration with existing domains. • Oversee user account management, including group policies and security permissions. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for Office 365, Azure Active Directory, and data migration processes. • Generate regular reports on system performance, project status, and compliance. • Ensure existing user IDs are synchronized as per project requirements. • Utilize strong analysis skills to understand and address issues effectively. • Employ Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Domain management, and Group Policy skills in daily tasks.
Requirements • Proficient in Azure Active Directory, including managing and maintaining the system • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting • Knowledge of Domain management, including managing user access and system security • Familiarity with Group Policy, including creating and implementing policies for user and computer configurations • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with team members and stakeholders • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred • Certifications in relevant areas such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are desirable Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
