Raan Thai is an authentic Thai food hot spot in Suffolk County, New York featuring great curry and flavorful noodle dishes. We are highly rated on platforms such as Yelp and Tripadvisor and aim to maintain our successful reputation. Thus, we are looking to hire experienced and talented Thai Specialty Cooks to work in our busy kitchen.Specifically, our Thai Specialty Cooks will have the following responsibilities: 1.Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes using an understanding of the herbs and spices which permeate Thai cooking, including fermented fish sauce, shrimp pastes, lemongrass, coriander, galingale, garlic, and chilies;2.Cook in a fast-paced environment under time pressure;3.Prepare different types of Thai specialty sauces so the dishes contain unique and authentic Thai flavors; and4.Perform other health and sanitation duties as required by law.SALARY: $46,758/yearREQUIREMENTS: 24 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2 years of experience in Thai cooking).Send resume to Chanah LLC dba Raan Thai 203 Terry Rd Smithtown, NY 11787
