Under the direct management of the Sr. Director, design, develop, validate, and document production test equipment for medical devices. Develop test specifications based on product development input and production requirements. During test planning and design, consider product specifications, process requirements costs, test time and test coverage. Evaluate effectiveness and compatibility of products and carefully balance product specifications, process requirements, cost, test time and test coverage. Interface test tools with databases for test result reporting. Confer with other engineers, customers, and vendors to develop and build automated production test equipment. Validate test equipment prior to use in production.
