Firecrest Clinical is part of the ICON plc Group and produces highly visual and engaging products for the Clinical Trial Industry. Firecrest products help improve Site performance by delivering innovative and effective training to sites while complying with Industry Standards. As an organisation responsible for the development of clinical training for medical staff, the Content and Functional Reviewer role is critical to the delivery of accurate and high quality training products to our clients.

The Role:

This position is office-based three days/ week from Johannesburg/ Sofia or Warsaw

The Content and Functional Reviewer (CFR) will have responsibility for identifying, monitoring, and reporting quality issues on our product and process. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a passion for quality, enjoy fast-paced environments and are solution orientated.

The CFR will have a high proficiency in English and strong attention to detail is essential. The CFR will be competent to work on their own but also as a team member with other professionals. The CFR will be required to complete projects within specified timelines and report on product and process issues on an ongoing basis. In doing so they will be focused on continuous improvement helping to identify innovative and effective approaches to product and process improvement within Firecrest.

  • As part of a project team, assume responsibility for conducting editorial and functional reviews of Firecrest created content against defined content standards and checklists.

  • Assist the project team with providing the client with a positive experience through the development of training components and support tools.

  • Take responsibility for informing project manager of all quality issues regarding client deliverables, and following through to resolution.

  • Ensure projects have been conducted according to quality processes through compliance monitoring and reporting.

  • Actively participate in lessons learned and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Actively contribute to teamwork by being demanding of both self and team.

  • Assume individual responsibility for own deliverables and deadlines. Assume collective responsibility for successful on-time completion and quality of projects

  • Collaborate with teams to develop learning solutions for a global audience.

  • Aim to ensure business objectives are met by ensuring defined CFR goals and target metrics are achieved

  • Motivate and encourage fellow team members, providing necessary support

  • Embrace and contribute to process improvement, product enhancement, and content standards, with a focus on streamlining processes and meeting client needs, through removal of waste, addition of value, and improvements to development tool set.
