Description & Qualifications
Description
UKG is looking for a passionate Software Engineer with web application experience to join our team. The Software Engineer will have experience with Java programming language, Selenium automation framework and be able to equally participate in both software development and quality assurance practices.
• Has a good understanding of programming and testing concepts
• Has good analytical skills to be able to efficiently troubleshoot development problems
• Participate in the development of a SaaS application
• Perform End to End testing of Web Applications
• Communicates with other departments to effectively gather information required to perform duties
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
• Good Java and OOP knowledge
• 1+ years of working experience in software development and/or software quality assurance
• Experience with Selenium testing framework
• Good understanding of the full testing lifecycle of Web Applications
• Good knowledge of Web Standards and Technologies (CSS, HTML)
• Professional attitude and attention to detail
• Willingness and appetite to learn and develop
• Good level of English, both written and spoken
Advantageous qualifications/skills:
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies
• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Software Engineering Academies)
• Experience with GIT
