PeopleReady Concrete Finisher in South Jordan, Utah
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for skilled and experienced Concrete Finishers. Location: Salt Lake City, UT. We are seeking Concrete Finishers. Work is done outdoors in hot and cold weather. You must know your way around a construction site and adhere to safety protocols to help guide and protect you as you work amongst cranes, and moving equipment. Having a background in the concrete field is necessary with a minimum of 1 year experience.
NOTE - The pay rate for this job is $20 - $30 / hour

Responsibilities:
Ensuring the concrete surface is level, smooth, and free of defects before finishing.
Applying release agents or curing compounds to the surface as needed.
Repairing any cracks, holes, or other imperfections in the concrete.
Spreading and leveling the concrete using various hand tools, such as floats, trowels, and edgers.
Applying the desired finish, such as a smooth, broom, or textured finish, to the concrete surface.
Maintaining the appropriate moisture content and curing the concrete to achieve the desired strength and appearance.
Applying specialized finishes, such as stamped, colored, or decorative concrete, as per the project requirements.
Operating specialized equipment, such as concrete polishers or grinders, to achieve specific finish effects.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience
OSHA 10 or 30 hour certified preferred but not required
Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
Familiar with different finishing techniques
