Do you have a passion for providing excellent customer service? Do you have any logistics or dispatching experience? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you! We are hiring a 2nd shift Logistics Specialist. This is a contract to potential hire position. The ideal candidate will have customer service / call center experience and be a great communicator. Must be able to work the following shift: Monday - Friday evenings | 2:30 PM - 11 PM
salary: $20 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities
As a Specialist, you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries
Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation
Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads
Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers
