Compensation for the Director of Supply Chain

 

  • $110,000 to $164,000 Annually DOE

Responsibilities of the Director of Supply Chain

 

As the Director of Supply Chain, you will develop strategic relationships with suppliers to meet pricing and lead time expectations and create a scalable supplier base to meet the growing needs of the company while maintaining and reducing costs. You will build a robust, trusted third-party equipment network to provide our customers with the lowest total cost of ownership, shortest lead time, and most advanced technology. Day to day this position manages, plans, organizes, directs, and controls the purchasing and materials management functions of the company. This includes purchasing, receiving, inventorying, and distributing materials used for both Aftermarket sales and new machine builds.

 

Requirements of the Director of Supply Chain

 

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of proven experience in a senior supply chain management role within a manufacturing environment. Preferably high variability/low volume and within a highly competitive industry.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and achieving cost savings as well as reduction of lead times related to materials delivery.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of component standardization and experience using composite materials in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and strategy skills.
  • Ability to navigate through change, work well under pressure, persuade and influence outcomes.
