Job Title: Human Resources GeneralistJob Description

We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team at a local manufacturing company. This individual will be responsible for a range of HR duties, including onboarding and recruitment, offer letters, interview assistance, ATS system tracking, benefits and 401k work, employee files, employee relations, policy drafting and maintenance, performance management tracking, and employee events. Occasional travel to our Yakima location may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding and recruitment

  • Offer letters and interview assistance

  • ATS system tracking (Paycor)

  • Managing recruitment for manufacturing/production/forklift/drivers/burial service professionals

  • Assisting with benefits and 401k work

  • Maintaining employee files

  • Handling some employee relations after building trust with employees

  • Drafting and maintaining policies

  • Helping to launch performance management tracking in Paycor

  • Organizing employee events

  • Occasional travel to Yakima location

Essential Skills

  • Employee relations

  • Onboarding

  • Human resources administration

  • Recruitment

  • ATS system management

  • Employee benefits management

  • Experience with payroll systems, particularly Paycor

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Human Resource experience

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly considered but not required

  • SHRM certification is not required

Work Environment

The work environment includes a Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift schedule with flexible early start times. This is an opportunity to gain HR-related experience as a generalist. Benefits include medical, dental, and paid premiums starting the first month following 30 days, with the option to add children. Vision coverage is voluntary, and there is an HRA that rolls over every year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
