Actalent Ergonomics Engineer in Spring Hill, Tennessee

INDUSTRIAL ERGONOMIC ENGINEER| AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING | SPRING HILL, TN

You will be identifying manufacturing ergonomic issues and working with a collaborative team of people to design and validate solutions. The collaborative team you will work with may include Industrial Engineering, Product Design Engineers, and/or Manufacturing Engineers. In addition to Ergonomic technical knowledge and experience applying Ergonomic analysis tools, you will need strong communications skills, the ability to work in a team, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the Ergonomic subject matter expert for all new product launches.

  • Per the Global Ergonomic process, conduct Ergonomic analyses & evaluations as needed for new parts, operations, material containers, and/or manufacturing assist tools. Interpret these results and provide solutioning recommendations.

  • Track and manage all Ergonomic concerns and issues and drive issues through the issue resolution process.

  • Communicate status of all Ergonomic issues to the plant Ergonomics team as well as the Global Ergonomics team.

  • Participate, as appropriate, in specific ergonomics initiatives/projects as needed.

  • Provide timely written reports and updates on specific ergonomics projects.

  • Other contributions as required.
