Actalent Ergonomics Engineer in Spring Hill, Tennessee
INDUSTRIAL ERGONOMIC ENGINEER| AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING | SPRING HILL, TN
You will be identifying manufacturing ergonomic issues and working with a collaborative team of people to design and validate solutions. The collaborative team you will work with may include Industrial Engineering, Product Design Engineers, and/or Manufacturing Engineers. In addition to Ergonomic technical knowledge and experience applying Ergonomic analysis tools, you will need strong communications skills, the ability to work in a team, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the Ergonomic subject matter expert for all new product launches.
Per the Global Ergonomic process, conduct Ergonomic analyses & evaluations as needed for new parts, operations, material containers, and/or manufacturing assist tools. Interpret these results and provide solutioning recommendations.
Track and manage all Ergonomic concerns and issues and drive issues through the issue resolution process.
Communicate status of all Ergonomic issues to the plant Ergonomics team as well as the Global Ergonomics team.
Participate, as appropriate, in specific ergonomics initiatives/projects as needed.
Provide timely written reports and updates on specific ergonomics projects.
Other contributions as required.
