ABOUT THIS ROLE

In this critical global role, you will lead the charge to make HP Marketing future-ready. You will identify and build learning and development programs that prepare and upskill HP marketers for the skills of today and tomorrow, and drive impact, value, and growth for our customers, brand, and employees, particularly in the age of AI.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • STRATEGIC THINKING : You'll work closely with Worldwide and in-country Marketing leaders to define strategy, determine priorities, and deliver polished L&D solutions that delight users and drive outsized business outcomes.

  • SKILLS ASSESSMENT : Identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities in our capabilities and create world class programs - internally or in partnership with best-in-breed providers.

  • INNOVATION : Build new and innovative L&D programs and ways of learning in our fast-moving, hybrid world, including upskilling our marketers on generative AI capabilities. Incorporate industry and L&D best practices into curriculum development.

  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAM LEADERSHIP : Champion a 'One Team' approach to Marketing employee training by collaborating with HR and Global L&D to create a more integrated and holistic approach to learning and career development.

  • CHANGE MANAGEMENT : Drive Marketing-wide awareness, adoption, and engagement of the programs, leading by influence and transforming how marketers train and learn.

  • METRICS & MEASUREMENT : Identify KPIs and track and measure success metrics across learning, business, and people outcomes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven Learning and Development Leader : A seasoned senior leader with 10+ years of experience leading L&D in a global organization with a proven track record of delivering tangible business and people outcomes. Experience launching and scaling new and innovative learning programs globally.

  • Industry Knowledge and Expertise: Strong knowledge of AI capabilities marketers need today and in the future. Understanding of the marketing field with a pulse on L&D and industry best practices. Deep sense of curiosity and a learning mindset.

  • Change Agent : You know how to galvanize teams, build cross-functional and cross-geography support to drive impact and results, and proactively tap into data-driven (qualitative and quantitative) transformational insights to inform decision-making and improve output.

  • Effective Communications Skills : Ability to influence at all levels including senior executives, articulate a compelling vision, and deliver storytelling through data.

Per the Washington statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is $170,000 - $230,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
