The Role:
The successful applicant will become part of an innovative and exciting project to establish Electronic Warfare training ranges in Australia to support the ADF and will:
Provide engineering solutions including design, analysis, implementation, test and lifecycle support of the safe and secure delivery of MTTES components, modules and subsystems.
Develop system change proposals using the change management processes and conforming to relevant quality management and Australian Standards.
Support operational MTTES systems regarding troubleshooting and upgrading of capabilities, requiring liaison with Operations & Maintenance staff.
Work with a variety of mechanical aspects including mounting brackets, plant mobility, mechanically scanned radar equipment and power plants.
The person:
A minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience in mechanical design within a process driven engineering environment.
Willingness and ability to travel to regional and remote locations to perform small team/independent work.
Demonstrated experience with managing the safety & risk assessment process and addressing risks through system safety design practices.
